Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was chosen to represent Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013, but later knee injuries forced her out of the game. It took many years for Allana to return back into playing in the league. Allana played her first women's soccer match in 2015 and played in the game for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana is also adding radio to her game, performing regularly with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Outside of sport Allana is also a trained instructor. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare privilege of representing Australia in three distinct sports events: Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson has been forced to bring an early end to her rugby league career after tearing her ACL for the fourth time. The 25-year-old has previously tore the ligament in the same knee when she was 15 17 and 20-years-old and, after a third tear it meant Ferguson's time ended. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to leave early. Ferguson confirmed to The Courier Mail that she suffered the injury during training in November. Ferguson has been the face of women's Rugby League throughout the years.
